Announcing Ten Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award Recipients
We are pleased to announce the Fall 2022 recipients of the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. The ten recipients will receive an award of up to $10,000 and have been accepted to From the Top’s Learning and Media Lab Fellowship, which culminates in an appearance on From the Top’s NPR radio program.
Since 2005, From the Top and the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation have awarded more than $3.4 million to driven and committed young musicians with financial need.
Congratulations to Our New Jack Kent Cooke Young Artists
Recipients can use the $10,000 award to help offset the often prohibitively expensive costs of studying classical music at a high level. They can apply the award towards instrument purchases, summer camp tuition, college audition travel expenses, private lessons, or other music-related needs.
All Jack Kent Cooke Young Artists participate in From the Top’s Learning and Media Lab, a 4-week remote learning program, which culminates in a community engagement activity and the recording of their appearance on From the Top’s NPR radio program.
The Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award program is currently accepting applications through November 15.
All young musicians who wish to be considered for the award in the 2022-2023 season must apply by November 15.
The remaining Award winners for the 2022-23 season will be announced in January 2023.
