Madelyn Zoller (flute), 17, hails from Cincinnati Ohio, and began studying flute at the age of 12. She is currently a student of Nancy Stagnitta, studying at Interlochen Arts Academy.

Additionally, she performed with the Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra as a winner of their Concerto Competition.

Madelyn’s previous teachers include Jackie Bender and Morrigan O’Brien-Kane, leading her to participate in the Summer Flute Intensive at the Interlochen Arts Camp. Madelyn became a year-round student at Interlochen Arts Academy in 2022 and was recently selected to perform with the Academy Orchestra on tour, in a side-by-side performance with the New York Philharmonic.

Outside of music, Madelyn enjoys rock climbing and spending time with her family. She hopes to continue her studies pursuing classical flute performance in college, following her graduation from Interlochen.

Receiving the Award will allow Madelyn to purchase a high-quality flute, which will carry her through college and into the professional field.
