Meet Quantum Saxophone Quartet

The quartet performed Memory from Nepomuk’s Dances by Marcelo Zarvos (b. 1969) on Show 386 in Beverly Hills, California on March 4, 2020. The episode will air nationwide during the week of September 28, 2020.

The Quantum Saxophone Quartet from Hebron High School in Dallas, Texas is comprised of: GianCarlo Lay, 16, from Carrollton, Texas,  recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award; Ekdev Rajkitkul, 17, from Frisco, Texas, recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award; Austin Dreyer, 18, from Carrollton, Texas; Peyton Joffre, 18, from Carrollton, Texas. They were the Silver Medal winners of the Fischoff Competition’s Junior Wind Division in 2019. They are coached by Mark Smith, Saxophone Faculty and Andy Sealy, Director of Bands.

The Quantum Quartet’s appearance on From the Top is supported by Associated Chamber Music Players (ACMP).
