Katrina Franco (soprano), 18, lives in San Francisco, California. She studies classical voice with Christine Abraham at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division. Katrina has won awards in regional, national, and international competitions, including the NFMC (San Francisco Chapter), SFBAC NATS, International Grande Music Competition, US International Music Competition, Bellagrande International Music Competition, and the Hal Leonard Vocal Competition. Katrina is passionate about both singing and acting, and regularly crosses over between classical voice and musical theatre repertoire. She studied acting and musical theater with the American Conservatory Theater’s Young Conservatory Program, performing in the Middle and High School Cabaret Ensembles. Some of her favorite roles include Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown, Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, and Anna in Spring Awakening. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys cooking and creative writing.
