Noah performs on Show 410.
Noah Jung (clarinet), 17, lives in Los Angeles, California and is a senior at Oak Crest Academy Colburn. He studies clarinet with Yehuda Gilad at Colburn Music Academy. Noah’s accomplishments include winning first prize at the Web ClarinetOnline contest from the Accademia Italiana del Clarinetto, being chosen as the category winner at the Walgreens National Concerto Competition for two years in a row, being a finalist and awarded the “Shining Talent” award for the Silverstein Clarinet Contest, and performing for the Bernstein Ravinia festival with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra. Noah also performed with NYO-USA, with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra as principal chair, and with the Colburn Youth Orchestra as principal chair. He is also a member of the Tayo Clarinet Quintet. Outside of music, Noah enjoys chess, soccer, ping-pong, and basketball.
