FTT & Tiny Desk 2025

We are thrilled to share From the Top’s latest Tiny Desk concert in collaboration with our partners at NPR Music. Recorded in honor of From the Top’s 25th anniversary season.

• Cellist Cameron Renshaw (age 13) performs an excerpt from Nicolò Paganini’s Variations on One String on a theme by Rossini with collaborative pianist Eden Chen.
• Violinist Laura Jin (age 12) performs Henryk Wieniawski’s Polonaise de Concert, Op. 4 with collaborative pianist Eri Kang.
• Composer/pianist Rhyuhn Green (age 18) performs his own composition Impromptu in F minor “Symbiosis”.

There is no greater day each year at the Tiny Desk, for this music nerd, than when we host young musicians from the organization called From the Top. Through its 25 years of radio broadcasts, digital content and fellowships, FTT is a robust platform that showcases and supports young musicians around the country.
