Laura performs on Show 450.

Laura Jin (violin), 11, is originally from Sydney Australia. She began learning violin when she was six and a half, and at the age of eight was admitted to the Juilliard School’s Pre-College division in New York, where she currently studies with Professor Li Lin.

Laura’s intrinsically musical, engaging, and dynamic performances have earned her numerous international competition awards, including top prizes at the Zhuhai Mozart International competition 2023, Louis Spohr 2022 and Leonid Kogan international competitions 2021. She has been a featured soloist with the New York Chamber Players Orchestra, Jena Philharmonic Orchestra of Germany, and the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of New York.

The outstanding Gagliano violin Laura plays is on extended loan through the generous efforts of The Stradivari Society of Chicago.
