Nora Scheller Plays to Support a Community “Gem” in North Mankato, MN

17-year-old violinist and Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Nora Scheller wanted to support the efforts and achievements of her community’s Suzuki School branch. She chose to host a benefit recital at Gustavus Adolphus College in her hometown of St. Peter, MN, and managed to raised just over $1,000 for the school! With the help of her teachers and her mother, Nora was able to organize a successful performance.

“The goal of this performance was to raise more awareness and support for the Mankato Suzuki School of Music. It’s always been a gem in our area, a place for students who love music to explore their creativity through music, and just have fun!”
