Meet Scott

Scott Quirk (flute), 17, is a senior at Monte Vista School and lives in Simi Valley, California, where he studies with Jim Walker at Colburn Music Academy. He is a recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. His proudest musical accomplishment was participating in Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra 2 (NYO2). Outside of music, Scott enjoys dance aerobics and getting late night snacks with friends.
