Meet Nicholas

Nicholas Tisherman appeared on Show 248, recorded in March 2012, at age 17.

NICHOLAS TISHERMAN Nick Tisherman’s relationship with “From the Top” began when he was featured on the show in March 2012. Having studied with Richard Dallessio at Juilliard Pre-College, Nick enrolled in New England Conservatory in fall of 2012 and is continuing his oboe studies with John Ferrillo. Currently a junior at NEC, he has also played off-campus with the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Boston Premiere Orchestra, Freisinger Chamber Orchestra, and the Brookline Symphony Orchestra. In his free time he enjoys hiking and writing, and would like to travel to Europe in the future. Nick is a native of Katonah, New York.

Nicholas is a member of the Center for Development of Arts Leaders (CDAL) in Boston.
