Natalie Dungey (trumpet), 10, began playing violin at the age of five, but switched to trumpet soon after, influenced by her father, who is a trumpet player and teacher. She now takes lessons from him, and is a member of the Seattle Youth Symphony near her home in Issaquah, WA. Natalie was the winner of the Junior Division of the 2009 National Trumpet Competition. In her spare time, she loves playing Super Mario for Wii, reading, and helping her mom wash the dishes.
