Kartik Papatla (cello), 18, is from Mequon, Wisconsin, where he attended Homestead High School. He studies with Scott Cook and he plays in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony OrchestraÕs Senior Symphony. He was in the National Youth Orchestra of the USA in 2013 and he was a first place winner in the 2012 Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition. Outside of music, his interests include participating on his schoolÕs forensics team and visiting art museums.
