Karl Kirkpatrick, 18, lives in Mundelein, Illinois where he is a senior at Mundelein High School and studies trombone at the Merit School of Music under Timothy Riordan. His most memorable musical experience was playing Amazing Grace during a family member’s funeral. In his spare time he enjoys reading, watching movies, and playing video games.
