Harriet Langley appeared on Show 135, recorded in February 2006, at age 13.

HARRIET LANGLEY studies with Miriam Fried at New England Conservatory and Augustin Dumay at Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth. Her past teachers include Asako Iwasawa at Toho Gakuin Music School, Patinka Kopec and Pinchas Zukerman at Manhattan School of Music, and Josef Rissin at Karlsruhe Musikhochschule. On September 11, 2002, she performed with Gil Shaham and Yo-Yo Ma for the 1st anniversary commemoration ceremony of the WTC at Ground Zero. Laureate or finalist of competitions including Yehudi Menuhin, Tibor Varga and Andrea Postacchini (1st prize), she has performed as a soloist with London Chamber Orchestra (dir. Christopher Warren-Green), Verbier Festival Orchestra (dir. Gabor Takacs-Nagy), Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Gyeonggi Philharmonic of Korea, Belgian National Orchestra, Reno Philharmonic, etc. in concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Palais des Beaux-Arts of Brussels, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Victoria Hall, Verbier Festival Hall, the Vienna Musikverein, the Royal Palace of Belgium and Windsor Castle.She has recorded two CDs with l’Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège: Vieuxtemps Concerto 7 (2011) and Saint-Saëns Pieces, including Havanaise and Romances (2013).
