Hannah performs on Show 445.

Hannah Lui (piano), 18, is a native of Tucson, Arizona. She began her studies at the age of four and fell in love with the instrument, making her orchestra debut with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra in 2018 under conductor José Luis Gomez. She has studied under Dr. Ji-Young Kim for ten years, and has performed at various festivals and programs across the country, including Rocky Ridge Music Camp and Interlochen Arts Camp. She has won recognition through the Charleston International Music Competition, ASMTA James R. Anthony Honors Recital, Tucson Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition, and the Steinway/Avanti Future Stars Piano Competition. Hannah serves on the Metropolitan Education Commission of Arizona and is the editor-in-chief of Hear Our Voices Magazine, a nationwide literary publication for Asian American youth. In her spare time, she enjoys solving New York Times crosswords and trying new coffee shops in her hometown.
