Calling All Alumni Writers!

If you’ve been on From the Top and you have something to say – and a pencil – then we’re looking for you!

We’ve got a cool opportunity to blog on the Huffington Post, and naturally, we think you, our young musicians, have great stories to tell. So, we have a challenge for you.

Send us a 250-word essay on “My Worst Day as a Musician”. Send it to info@fromthetop.org. Send it by March 15. We might pick your story to be published on the Huffington Post, or we might ask to you write more for us. Or, we might put your story up on our own blog. Really, the possibilities are endless.

The most successful stories will:

• Have a unique perspective (yours!)
• Share a story that’s relatable (everyone has had a rough day, whether they play music or not)
• Impart a lesson you have learned

Remember, keep it brief and personal. We’re looking forward to hearing your stories.
