About the Performers
Jack Kessler (viola), 18, from Miami, FL is pursuing his Bachelor of Music degree at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, PA with Roberto Diaz. He previously studied with Richard Fleischman at the New World School of the Arts and Michael Klotz from the Florida International University. He has performed side by side on violin and viola with the fellows of the New World Symphony, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas from 2015-2019.
Guest Host Jeremy Denk is one of America’s foremost pianists. Winner of a MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship, and the Avery Fisher Prize, Denk was recently elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
