This week’s From the Top features outstanding musicians from 14 to 18 years old, including a young violist playing the powerful second movement of the Walton Concerto, and Ravel’s Piano Trio performed by a wonderfully dynamic teenage chamber ensemble. We also invite a young pianist to play a round of our newest musical game “Left Hand Challenge!”

Trumpeter Caleb Hudson, 14, from Lexington, KY, performs Grand Russian Fantasia by Jules Levy

The Ravel Trio (pianist Christopher Falzone, 17, from Richmond, VA; cellist Anna Burden, 18, from Lake Bluff, IL; and violinist Eunice Keem, 18, from Northfield, IL) performs Piano Trio, 1st mvt. by Maurice Ravel

The Ravel Trio performs Café Music by Paul Schoenfeld (closing of program)
