Meet Max

MAX SERRANO-WU has been playing the piano since the age of 6. He has been studying with Esther Ning Yau for 6 years, after 3 years with Naoko Sugiyama, both at the Longy School of Music. Now Max is enjoying solo and chamber music at New England Conservatory and Powers Music School. In April 2015, Max performed the Beethoven Choral Fantasy with the Worcester Youth Orchestra and the Drew University Choral Union. During the summer, Max attends the Cremona International Music Academy in Italy and, in 2012, earned fourth place in the Piano Youth Division. Max also started playing the saxophone in January 2014 with his teacher Todd Brunel. Besides the piano, Max enjoys playing soccer on his club team, Sachems FC, and his high school team.

Max is a member of the Center for Development of Arts Leaders (CDAL) in Boston.
