Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award Recipients
Since 2005, From the Top and the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation have awarded more than $4 million to more than 400 exceptional young musicians with financial need, helping to offset some of the expensive costs of studying classical music at a high level.
Each year, From the Top chooses approximately 20 driven and committed pre-collegiate musicians to receive the award.
Recipients are granted up to $10,000 to apply toward instrument purchases, summer camp tuition, college audition expenses, private lessons, or other music-related needs.
All Jack Kent Cooke Young Artists participate in From the Top’s Learning and Media Lab. They attend a 4-week remote learning program, plan and implement a community engagement activity, and record their appearance on From the Top’s NPR radio program.
