Silent Night for Cello Quartet

Premiered on Christmas Eve in 1818 for solo voice and guitar – the church’s organ was broken – Silent Night was an instant hit and rapidly spread from Salzburg throughout Europe. Two centuries later and on a completely different continent, four From the Top cellists pay homage to the classic piece with this new, gorgeous arrangement by David Burndrett.
