This week, from the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Winspear Opera House in Dallas, Texas, our line-up of outstanding performers includes a local 14-year-old violist performing Schubert’s beautiful Arpeggione Sonata and a talented teenage pianist who is now living with his very generous piano teacher. Plus, nine teenagers from Chicago’s Percussion Scholarship Group create an especially electric finale!

Cellist John-Henry Crawford, 16 from Shreveport, LA, performs III. Allegro commodo from Sonata No. 2 by Bohuslav Martinu
The Percussion Scholarship Group (percussionists Andre L. Battles, Jr., Amanda Chow, Shuya Gong, Eric Goldberg, Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Joshua Jones, Lucia Leon, John Ringor, Marcelina Suchocka, and Zuri Wells) ages 13-17, from Chicago, IL, perform Marimba Spiritual by Minoru Miki. Directed by Douglas Waddell and Patricia Dash.
