Erre Maqueos (trumpet), 15, hails from Los Angeles, California. He studies trumpet with Mike Zonshine at the Colburn School, and he plays with Colburn’s Youth Orchestra and Big Band. Erre plays several styles of music, including classical, jazz, and Latin. His father is a music teacher and performer, and Erre often plays with him in his Oaxacan music band.
