From Longy School of Music’s Edward Pickman Hall in Cambridge, Massachusetts, we meet an astonishingly talented group of young performer including a precocious 13-year-old who trained for the flute by dragging gallons of milk around the supermarket. We also hear a dizzying and flawless performance of Liszt’s La Campanella by an ambitious 17-year-old from Dallas, Texas, and we meet a charming 17-year-old bassoonist who composes chamber music to impress his girlfriend.
