Meet Moni

Moni perform on Show 9 in Cambridge, MA, on November 21, 1999 at age 18. He returned to From the Top to perform on Show 323 in Idyllwild, CA, on April 7, 2016.

Program bio from Show 323:

A native of Bulgaria, Moni Simeonov came to the United States on a full scholarship to the Idyllwild Arts Academy. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at USC’s Thornton School of Music where he studies with Midori and serves as Adjunct Instructor of Violin and Chamber Music. Moni frequently performs with ensembles such as IRIS Chamber Orchestra and LA Chamber Orchestra, and is the acting Concertmaster for the Sacramento Philharmonic. He has also concertized and taught in the United States, South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. During the summer months, Moni is a faculty member at University of Maine’s Chamber Music Institute.
