About
This week, From the Top is in New Mexico at the Simms Center for the Performing Arts at Albuquerque Academy. You’ll hear a teenage cellist performing from the Bach Cello Suites, a young oboist playing a dazzling montage of themes from an opera by Donizetti, and the world premiere of a piano trio written by a 17-year-old composer from Georgia. Also Roving Reporter Hayley Goldbach presents the first From the Top math challenge, and also introduces you to a talented trumpeter who gives new meaning to the words “go jump off a cliff!”
