Daily Joy: From a Distance Quartet

It brings us joy to see these young people finding a way to continue making music together, despite their physical distance. The Kalico Quartet performs Largo from Bach’s Double Violin Concerto, arr. for string quartet.

They are: Lena-Marie DeMayo Stoger, violin, 17, from New York, New York, recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award; Cheng Io Lo, violin, 18, from Macau, China/Jersey City, New Jersey; Kevin Wallace, viola, 17; and Andrew Wallace, cello, 17, from Montclair, New Jersey.
