About
Ylang and Yxing Guo (violin), 15 and 13, from Honolulu, Hawaii will be featured, performing works by Sarasate, Jose White, Bach, and Queen Liliuokalani’s Aloha ‘Oe arranged by Kreisler from their home.
The sisters study violin with Ignace Jang and are members of the Hawaii Youth Symphony. Ylang and Yxing come from a large musical family – they have nine brothers and sisters, all of whom play music. Outside of music, the sisters share an interest in surfing. Ylang also enjoys cooking and gardening while Yxing loves sports like soccer and basketball.
