Meet Yong-Ha
Yong-Ha performed on Show 346 in Boston, MA on October 1, 2017, at age 17.
Yong Ha is now 19, and just completed his second year of undergraduate studies at The Juilliard School. He will perform on Show 373 in San Marcos, Texas on June 8, 2019.
Yong-Ha Jung (viola), 17, is from Flower Mound, Texas, where he began his classical studies at the age of nine. Studying under Ronald Houston, Yong-Ha recently performed his orchestral debut with the Plano Symphony Orchestra and Lewisville Lake Symphony Orchestra. This past summer, he had the privilege of attending the 2017 Great Mountains Pyeong Chang Music Festival in South Korea, which he says has been his favorite musical experience because of the opportunity to study under and attend the concerts of world-renowned musicians such as Hung-Wei Huang and Kazuhide Isomura. Outside of music, Yong-Ha enjoys golfing and spending time with his friends as a senior at Flower Mound High School.
