Meet Trent

Trent appears on Show 467.

Trent Park (guitar), 17, is a student in the Pre-College Division of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studies guitar with Scott Cmiel and has completed the highest level of the music theory curriculum. This past summer, Trent was a semifinalist in the 13th International Martinez Guitar Competition in Iserlohn, Germany. By invitation, he has performed for Maestro Manuel Barrueco’s “Pre-College Guitar Virtuosos” master classes in 2023 and 2024, as well as for Judicaël Perroy, Meng Su, Ben Verdery, and Jason Vieaux, among others. He attends the math-based Proof School and serves as its student-teacher in Music Theory.
