Meet The Percussion Scholarship Group Duo

The Percussion Scholarship Group Duo performed on Show 390 from Merkin Hall on September 25, 2020.

The Percussion Scholarship Group Duo is comprised of Bridget Hemesath, 17, and Gabriel Hsieh, 16, from Chicago, Illinois. The duo is coached by Doug Waddell and Pat Dash. Bridget and Gabriel met when they were both ten through their involvement in the Percussion Scholarship Group and have played in numerous ensembles together before forming a duo last year. Outside of music, Gabriel enjoys singing and Bridget enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, running, mountain biking, and paddling on Lake Michigan.
