Meet Stanford Alumni Piano Trio

Stanford Piano Trio is a special ensemble for this live taping event. Along with Youjin Lee, who will also perform solo on this show, the trio features 26-year-old cellist Anna Wittstruck and 18-year-old pianist Hugo Kitano. Anna Wittsrtuck first appeared on From the Top in 2000 on Show 34, taped in Charlotte, North Carolina. Currently, she is a PhD student in musicology at Stanford, as well as the Assistant Conductor of the Orchestral Studies Program. Hugo Kitano appeared on From the Top in 2011 on Show 242, taped in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has just entered his freshman year at Stanford.
