Meet San Diego Youth Symphony and the Sinfónica Juvenil de Tijuana

San Diego Youth Symphony and the Sinfónica Juvenil de Tijuana perform on Show 475.

San Diego Youth Symphony and the Sinfónica Juvenil de Tijuana , both youth orchestras, united for a first-ever collaboration that celebrated youth and the ability of music to bring our communities together. Together, these young musicians formed a binational orchestra to perform “Ilimitados”, a new piece of music by Andrés Martín. This music was commissioned to celebrate Tijuana and San Diego’s designation as World Design Capital 2024, which recognizes the innovative use of design to strengthen economic, social, cultural and environmental development.
