Ren Martin-Doike (violin), 17, is a recipient of From the Top’s 10,000 Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. She studies with Mimi Zweig at the Indiana University Pre-College String Academy near her hometown of Bloomington, IN, where she is a member of the Violin Virtuosi and the Ren & Friends String Quartet. She participates in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Side by Side Orchestra and has attended the Innsbrook Institute. Ren enjoys a long list of activities including graphology, silk screening, “Andy Warhology,” sound recording, and volunteering.
