Meet Piano Trio

Piano Trio performs on Show 465.

The Piano Trio was formed after Laetitia Ji (piano), 16, Anna Kehayova (violin), 16, and Sophia Fortuin (cello), 16, met at Summer Music at the Rivers Conservatory in 2018 and had such a wonderful time and so many common interests that they wanted to keep playing together. They have been coached by Laura Blustein at the New England Conservatory Prep School since 2019.

The trio has had several exceptional performance opportunities, including playing in Carnegie Hall in June 2023 and January 2025 as Winners of the First Prize for their age group in the 2022 and 2024 American Virtuoso International Music Competitions. They also won First Prize for their age group at the 2020 Chamber Music Foundation of New England, the 2022 Association Les Musicales du Centre International Music Competition, and the 2023 International Bthvn Wien Competition. Trio Patronus has participated in Masterclasses with Trio Merz and Trio Gaia at the New England Conservatory Prep School, and with Philippe Tondre of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
