Olivia Staton is from Vienna, Virginia, where she is a student at James Madison High School. Currently, she studies with Aaron Goldman at the National Symphony Orchestra Youth Fellowship at the Kennedy Center. She has participated in the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, Interlochen Flute Institute 2011, and Boston University Tanglewood Institute in 2012 and 2013. In her spare time, she gives free music lessons to elementary students through a mentoring program and also enjoys ballet.
