Meet Natalie

Natalie performed on Show 385 in Fairfax, Virginia on February 29, 2020.

Natalie Brennecke (viola), 18, hails from Oberlin, Ohio and is a recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. She is currently a senior, studying with Louise Zeitlin at the Oberlin Community Music School and privately with Jeffrey Irvine. She is also a member of the Cleveland Institute of Music’s Pre-College Chamber Music Program. Her previous teachers include Christiana Reader. Along with other prizes, she is a co-winner of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, which will result in a solo performance at Severance Hall in May 2020. In her spare time, Natalie likes sewing, quilting, and reading.
