(string quartet), is comprised of Matthew Kufchak, aged 18 from Westerville, OH, Jeffrey Myers, aged 18 from Columbus, OH, Reuben Payne aged 17 from Delaware, OH, and James Rubino, aged 18 from Worthington, OH. opus. won silver in the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition and will collaborate with the Cypress String Quartet on the Shostakovich Pieces for Double Quartet next fall for the Chamber Music Columbus concert series. Matthew Kufchak is the recipient of From the Top’s $10,000 Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award.   opus is featured on the new PBS-TV series From the Top: Live from Carnegie Hall
