Meet The MacPhail Guitar Quartet

The MacPhail Guitar Quartet performs on Show 442.

The MacPhail Guitar Quartet is comprised of Soren Winikoff (15), August Ho-Chen (14), Arjuna Murugesan (15), and Lukas Murdych (17). They study with Alan Johnston at the MacPhail Center of Music in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The quartet has performed in the United States, Germany, and Luxembourg. Individually, members have competed in national and international classical guitar competitions and participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians including Jason Vieux, Ana Vidovic, Antigoni Goni, Jeremy Jouve, the Los Angelos Guitar Quartet, and others.
