Joseph Hudson (trombone), 15, was first introduced to From the Top when his brother Caleb, a trumpet player, appeared on the show. A student at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington, Kentucky, Joseph plays in his school’s concert and jazz bands, performs with the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestra, and Kentucky’s All-State Band. This summer he attended Interlochen Arts Camp, where he was principal horn in the World Youth Symphony Orchestra. Joseph also loves basketball, drawing and reading.
