Jonathan López (clarinet), 17, is a senior at Mountain View High School in El Paso, Texas and is a recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. He studies clarinet with Lavinia Richards and is a member of the El Paso Youth Orchestra and has participated in the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Convention. His favorite musical experience was participating in the National Youth Orchestra through Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute.
