Meet John

John performed on February 14th, 2018 on Show 350 in San Antonio, Texas.

John Kaiser (bassoon), 17, lives in Frisco, Texas and is a senior at Reedy High School. He performs in the Reedy High School Band under Director Gavin Smith and takes private lessons with Dr. Jennifer Auerbach. In addition to winning first chair in the 2017 TMEA All-State Symphonic Band, John is principal bassoon of the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra and the contrabassoonist for the Richardson Symphony Orchestra. His favorite musical experience has been attending the Brevard Music Center in summer 2017. He also enjoys fishing, hiking, boating, and other outdoor activities.
