Meet Jingchen

Jingchen Sun appeared on Show 165, recorded in September 2007, at age 17. She also appeared on Season 2 of PBS’s From the Top at Carnegie Hall.

Jingchen Sun (marimba), 17, is one of From the Top’s $10,000 Jack Kent Cooke Young Artists. A senior at the Professional Children’s School in New York, she participates in Juilliard’s Pre-College Division, where she performs with the Juilliard Pre-College Symphony and Percussion Group. She has participated in the Zeltsman Marimba Festival and the Beijing Percussion Festival.

Jingchen is a Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist.
