Meet Ji

Ji-Yong performed on Show 135, recorded in February 2006, at age 15.

Ji-Yong (piano)  age 15 from Wycoff, NJ, is in the 9th grade at Ramapo High School, and has both an awe-inspiring technique and a musical depth well beyond his years.  Since winning the New York Philharmonic Young Artists Competition at the age of 10, Ji-Yong has performed at Avery Fisher Hall with Kurt Masur and the New York Philharmonic, Aspen Music Festival with Peter Oundjian and the Aspen Concert Orchestra, New Jersey Performing Arts Center with the New Jersey Symphony, and in recital at Alice Tully Hall (New York), Kumho Art Hall (Seoul), as well as St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall (Russia).
