Jayden King (violin), 10, from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, began his musical journey at the age of three and quickly revealed an extraordinary gift for the instrument. At age seven, he was accepted into the Juilliard Pre-College Division, where he currently studies with Professor Masao Kawasaki.

Jayden has distinguished himself on both national and international stages, earning top prizes at some of the world’s most prestigious competitions. In 2025, he won First Prize at the Verão Clássico Festival & Academy in Lisbon, earned Third Prize at the Andrea Postacchini International Competition, and was selected as a Student Artist at Juilliard’s Starling-DeLay Symposium on Violin Studies. His earlier achievements include First Prize at the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition, Gold Medal at the Bravura Philharmonic Concerto Competition, and becoming the youngest-ever Grand Prize winner of the Camerata Artists International Competition. He has also received First and Grand Prizes at the International Grande Music Competition, Adelphi Orchestra Young Artist Competition, and New York Laureate International Music Competition, among others.

Jayden made his orchestral debut at the age of six with the Lindeblad Orchestra and has since performed with the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra, Camerata New Jersey Orchestra, and the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. He has also appeared as a soloist at major venues such as Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Hall in New York. Recent highlights include a concert tour of Italy with the Accademia d’Archi Arrigoni Orchestra and a performance with The Orchestra San Antonio at the Tobin Center’s 210 June Festival alongside violinist Francisco Fullana.

In addition to his competition and performance successes, Jayden has been invited to study with renowned artists across Europe and the United States. He has participated in masterclasses with Ana Chumachenco, Eszter Haffner, Cornelia Heard, Joseph Lin, Svetlana Makarova, Mihaela Martin, Pavel Vernikov, and Robin Wilson, and has been featured at major international festivals including the Tibor Varga Music Academy in Sion, the Swiss International Music Academy in Rheinau, the Wiener Meisterkurse in Vienna, and Juilliard’s Starling-DeLay Symposium.

Despite his young age, Jayden has already built an impressive international profile. His artistry, discipline, and passion for music continue to mark him as one of the most promising violinists of his generation.
