Meet Jacob

Jacob will perform on Show 329 as part of the Taggart Squared duo in St. Paul, MN.

Jacob Taggart (piano), 9, is from Blaine, Minnesota, and is in the 6^th grade at St. Agnes School and is a student of Dr. Reid Smith. Winner of the 2016 Art of Piano International Competition, Jacob has performed with the Milan Chamber Orchestra in Italy during his time at the Accademia Tadini International Music Festival in Lovere and has performed in masterclasses for Vincenzo Balzani, Shuku Iwasaki, Alexander Yakovlev, and Myrthala Salazar. During his free time, Jacob likes to play tackle football, baseball, and chess.
