Isabelle Nichols, cello

Meet Isabelle

Isabelle will perform on Show 352 in Zellerbach Auditorium in Berkeley, California on March 2, 2018 with the Meraki Quartet.

Isabelle Nichols (cello), 15, is a sophomore at Berkeley High School. She performs in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, participates in the Youth Chamber Music Program at the Crowden Music Center in Oakland, and studies with Bonnie Hampton, Tanya Tomkins, and Sebastian Gingras. Her favorite musical experience has been playing the Mendelssohn Octet with violinist Chee Yun. She is most proud of having won an international music competition in Narni, Italy. Isabelle also enjoys drawing and swimming.
