Isaac Schultz appeared on Show 280, recorded in November 2013, at age 18.

Program bio from Show 280:

Isaac Schultz (bassoon), 18, is currently studying with Ben Kamins at Rice University in Houston. He started playing bassoon in third grade, and since then has played with the New England Conservatory Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and the National Youth Orchestra. Isaac is the winner of the 2012 New Hampshire Philharmonic concerto competition. His past teachers include Mark Goldberg, Margret Phillips, and John Kehayas. Isaac is an alum of Phillips Exeter Academy and the Mountain School; he enjoys crossfit and anything to do with the outdoors.
