Francesca Bass (violin), 15, lives in Brookline, Massachusetts and comes from a family of classical musicians – her father teaches piano at the Boston Conservatory and her mother is a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Francesca has participated in chamber music ensembles since age 7 and was the concertmaster of the Youth Symphony at New England Conservatory last year. She has attended the Greenwood Music Camp and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute’s quartet and orchestra program. She studies music at New England Conservatory Preparatory School with Anait Arutunian. In her free time, Francesca loves to draw, spend time with her best friends, and travel with her family.
