Denver School of the Arts Ensemble is made up of music students at Denver School of the Arts, led by William Kohut, Principal, Enrique Lasansky, Director of Orchestras, and Dave Hammond, Director of Bands. Students included in this performance are violinist Simone Hammett-Lynch, violinist Artur Korotin, violist Katherine Guerrero, cellist Ben Roberts, double bassist Jordan Walters, and percussionist Gabriel Costache. The Denver School of the Arts is a comprehensive secondary arts magnet school (grades 6–12) in Denver Public Schools. In addition to a rigorous academic program, students engage in intensive studies in Creative Writing, Dance, Music, Stagecraft and Design, Theatre, Video Cinema Arts, and Visual Arts. Denver School of the Arts is committed to fostering a lifelong love of the arts in a culturally diverse, academically challenging environment.
